A free library of game-feel references, built for the people who make games.
Why this library exists
Game feel and feedback are what make a game readable, impactful and enjoyable to play. Every creator knows it — yet in production it is rarely simple to handle. Finding good references, analysing gameplay footage, organising examples, sharing them with the team and turning all of that into real design decisions takes time and friction that most teams absorb silently.
Game Feel Library grew out of that friction. After building project after project, the same problem kept coming back every time feedback came up in a conversation: there was no shared, structured place to point to.
What it is
Game Feel Library is a free catalogue of game-feel references built from short video clips: movement, attacks, damage, enemy deaths, pickups, interactions and more. Each clip is curated so you can study, compare and reference what makes an action feel right.
Where it's going
The long-term goal is to go beyond a catalogue and toward production-oriented tools: moodboards, feedback matrices, tracking for the feedback you still need to plan or improve, exports for your team, and more.
Built from real needs
The project is shaped by talking to the people who actually make games — how teams manage their references today, which tools they use, where they lose time, and what a specialised library could genuinely bring them. It is built from real production needs rather than a theoretical idea.
